Mumbai: The natural gas supply was disconnected today morning in Kalina.
According to the residents, the gas supply was disconnected at around 4 am and it returned at 10.30 am.

Stanny D'souza, a resident of Maya Enclave in Sundar Nagar, Kalina explained, "Our society consists of all senior citizens and we are used to our set schedule. With no supply of gas, it meant we were all helpless right from a bed tea to lunch, everything was at halt. Many people went to hotel for breakfast as many of us cannot afford to skip our meal due to health reasons."
KV Satyan, another resident of Kalina said, "We were feeling helpless when we learnt about the disconnection of gas."
Brian Milanda, Corporator of Kalina said, "They should have at least given a prior notice about the disconnection."
The Official Spokesperson stated, "The supply in the morning was disconnected due to technical error in the system. It was, however, resolved in two hours."
