Nawazuddin Siddiqui's film to clash with Salman Khan's 'Tiger Zinda Hai'

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's next titled 'Monsoon Shootout' was premiered at Cannes in 2013 and the film was stuck due to its content and wasn't finding a decent release to justify the film. Now the film is releasing after four years after its premiere. Now the film interestingly will release on the same day as Tiger Zinda Hai. As per sources, Monsoon Shootout will clash with Salman khans film on 22nd which the makers are considering. Interestingly Nawaz has worked twice with Salman in Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan before and was even offered a role in Tiger which he turned down due to date commitments towards Manto and now that it is clashing with TZH, this would be an interesting clash.

According to sources, "No other date is available before that. Besides, after December 22 there are no releases for 2 weeks and the makers want to cash in on that. Also, the audience for Salman starrer and Monsoon shootout is completely different, there won't be any clash as such."

Monsoon Shootout is a crime thriller film starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vijay Verma, Neeraj Kabi and Tannishtha Chatterjee. This film is about a policeman facing a life-altering decision when he must decide to shoot or not. Directed by Amit Kumar who earlier made an award-winning short film - Bypass which was the first time that Nawazudin Siddique and Irrfan Khan were seen together.
