The Guide tells you about a new art gallery in Pune which will give youngsters a chance to display their artworks

Art aficionados now have a new platform to showcase their talent. Oakwood Premier Pune, in collaboration with art curators Anaida and Sanjay Sethia, will launch the Pune Art Gallery.

The gallery will showcase paintings done on paper, canvas, oil paintings, charcoal and pen art as well as mixed media art. “We will screen the artists before the paintings are put on display as we want this to be unique and different from other art galleries in the city,” said Sanjay.

Paintings on display at the gallery

At present there are 65 paintings by 47 budding artists on display. Anaida added that they wanted to give art lovers a chance to check out rare art forms. “At this gallery, people will be able to see never-seen-before visuals,” she informed.

Art lovers can also purchase the paintings on display. Proceeds from the sales will be donated for healthcare and education of the underprivileged.
