A new twist to the lovey-dovey Valentine's Day is tending with the confectioners ' death-themed confections. Small businesses are putting out macabre looking chocolates and other bakery items to poke a fun at the Hallmark holiday, according to The Guardian. It has come to light that a bakery in Pennsylvania, has been selling out black, heart-shaped box of chocolates called 'Fatally Yours' for Valentine's Day.

This year's chocolate box has been modelled after an Ouija board and features white chocolate skeletal hands, among other creepy looking chocolate treats. The bakery is named Vegan Treats by Danielle Konya and is one of the biggest sellers for Valentine's Day confectionaries in the area.

Konya, the founder of Vegan Treats, said, 'On a holiday that survived on stuffed bears and roses, it satisfies the black heart in all of us. When I think of a black heart, it's the adversary to the traditional red heart symbol of love. The black heart is complex ' occasionally feels a little dead on the inside and listens to sad songs'.
