Barcelona and Brazil striker Neymar has split from his girlfriend Bruna Marquezine for a second time in two years.

The star footballer and his actress girlfriend got together last year just before the start of Brazil's FIFA World Cup preparations after their previous split and were spotted holidaying in Ibiza, Spain thereafter while on a summer break.

Bruna was also seen rushing to Neymar's side when he hurt his back during Brazil's FIFA World quarter-final win over Colombia. She was seen sporting a Barcelona jersey during the tournament too.
However, in a recent interview to a Brazilian television channel, Bruna spoke about the end of her relationship with the striker. She clarified that the couple would continue to remain good friends though.
"Neymar and myself have a lot of affection for one another. And this love, admiration and respect between us will be forever," the 19-year-old said.

Bruna is rumoured to be envious of the huge female attention Neymar receives from his multitude of fans worldwide, particularly in Brazil and Spain.
Neymar has also openly expressed his disinterest in getting married any time soon. The 22-year-old party-loving footballer had also recently posted his pictures with hotel heiress Paris Hilton alongwith Germany's Bastian Schweinsteiger and some girls hanging out on his boat.
Bruna has also expressed her desire to have children soon. "I will continue working, but I will do so with my husband and be a mother of twins. My biggest dream is to be a mother," Bruna said.
Now, being a father again may not be on top of Neymar's list of priorities at the moment since he already has a three-year-old son from his previous girlfriend Carolina Dantas.
