They would have celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in August, reported a portal.
Cage and Klum met in 2004, when she was just 19 and worked as a waitress at a restaurant.
The couple got engaged two months later. The 52-year-old actor was previously married to singer Lisa Marie Presley, the daughter of the legendary Elvis Presley, for four months in 2002 and to actress Patricia Arquette from 1995 to 2001.
He also has a 25-year-old son, Weston, from a previous relationship with model Christina Fulton.
