Seven people died and several players were reported in a critical condition in hospital after a head-on collision involving the team coach of Nigeria Div I side Zamfara Utd on Friday. Zamfara United official Ado Umar died on thespot, while a player, Abdullahi Sabiu, died in hospital early on Saturday. The crash also claimed the lives of five passengers in the other car while several players and officials were critically injured and being treated at the Federal Medical Centre in Gombe.u00a0
