During a shoot in Jodhpur, Nikita took fruits, dry fruits and salad with her to eat right. She also carried multiple food boxes with her because of which her co-stars and crew members started calling her a 'Dabbawali'.

"I'm very conscious about my eating habits. I believe that healthy meals play a very important role in our day-to-day lives. Also, it is necessary for me to stay fit as my character demands it,...” Nikita, who plays an aspiring actress in the show, said in a statement.

The story of the show revolves around a small town girl Lakshmi from Jodhpur who nurtures a dream of being Bollywood's biggest star.

With a positive attitude, Lakshmi's goal is to be launched opposite Samar Sareen (played by Mohsin Khan), who is shown to be Bollywood's most promising new face. But Lakshmi can only achieve this by impressing Ayesha Sareen (essayed by Shraddha Arya) and she can go to any extent to be in Ayesha's good books.
