Rohan Bopanna and Andre Begemann made a quarter-final exit from the ATP Citi Open after losing to Treat Huey and Dominic Inglot on Friday.
The Indo-German pair which had tasted some recent success, lost 4-6 6-7(1) to the Filipino-Briton combination in the second round.
Bopanna's fellow Indian Somdev Devvarman has already made an exit from the singles section so there is no Indian interest left in this tournament.
Bopanna and his partner threw away four break chances in the second set. After earning a one-set lead, the pair ought to have equalised, but the tie-breaker witnessed their demise in the game.
