Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi calls for sharing and understanding
In her address to the young students via video conferencing Aung San Suu Kyi, Nobel laureate and national chairperson, National League of Democracy Burma, said, "Conflict can make arise many international differences.
Ideas become enemies when they arise out of rivalry. Internationally, sharing and understanding can be used as resources. We all should come to a noble world of peace where all of us can feel secure.
Idealism is considered as soft, but there is nothing soft about it. It acts as determination to achieve something. The meaning of words generosity, charity, love, affection and tolerance will never go out of fashion. Students present here should use this opportunity for discussion and debate.”
