Oil tanker turns turtle on Mumbai-Pune expressway; no casualties reported

An oil tanker heading towards Akkalkot from Vashi turned turtle near Khalapur toll naka at around 12.30am on Thursday

Mumbai: An oil tanker turned turtle near Khalapur toll naka at around 12.30am today. The tanker was heading towards Akkalkot from Vashi, when an unknown truck rammed the oil tanker after losing control.

Due to the impact the tanker was pushed to the side of the road and turned turtle. No causualties were reported.

Pune bound traffic was diverted on the old pune road. Traffic on the expressway was restored at around 9.30am.
