Despite the existence of laws that ban tests to determine the sex of an unborn child, the destruction of female foetuses is common in some parts of India where the preference for sons runs deep.

This has led to skewed sex ratios in states like Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and New Delhi. We are going against the nature by not allowing foetus to live, survive, and see this beautiful world.
It is very sad that the girl child is considered as a bane instead of a boon. Awareness and education are most important to address this issue on an urgent basis before it's too late!!!
