New Delhi: In its ongoing probe in the recently busted Pakistani spy racket, Delhi Police has arrested another person, an officer said on Friday.

Munawwar Ahmad Mir, a retired Indian Army havildar, has been arrested for being part of the espionage racket, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Ravindra Yadav told IANS.

Yadav said Mir was arrested from Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir by a team of inter-state cell of Crime Branch that had gone there in search of other people involved in the racket.

"Mir had joined the army in 1995 and took retirement in 2011 after serving in a Rashtriya Rifles (Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry) battalion," Yadav said.

Yadav said the 41-year-old man was being produced before the concerned court in Jammu and Kashmir for seeking his transit remand for bringing him to Delhi for further interrogation.

Earlier, Delhi Police arrested Border Security Force (BSF) head constable Abdul Rasheed and 44-year-old library assistant Kafaitullah Khan alias Master Raja for obtaining secret information related to India's national security and sharing it with Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

Khan was arrested on November 26 from New Delhi railway station while Rasheed was held from Rajouri on his revelation.

Khan is also a resident of Rajouri district, while Rasheed was posted with the BSF intelligence wing in the same district.

Khan was allegedly working for ISI on pretext of monetary benefits.
