Pretoria: Murder accused Oscar Pistorius’ ex-girlfriend Samantha Taylor told Pretoria’s High Court yesterday that the Paralympian had “cheated” on her with the late Reeva Steenkamp.

Pistorius, who continues to plead not guilty for the intentional killing of his girlfriend Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day last year, heard patiently as Taylor even broke down a few times. A tearful Taylor said tat she and Pistorius split in November 2012 after she found out that he “cheated” on her with Steenkamp.
Taylor said that Pistorius even took the model to a prominent Sports Awards ceremony, while the pair were “still in a relationship”.
Further, Taylor spoke about Pistorius affinity towards his gun. She said that he always “carried it around with him” and would even keep it on his bedside table or next to his prosthetic legs on the floor at night.” She said the athlete was “often worried about intruders breaking into the house.”
Pistorius claims he shot at Steenkamp multiple times on the night of Feb 14, 2013 mistaking her to be an intruder.
