Over 2000 fans turn up at NSCI for Saina Nehwal

Fans thronged the Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium here at NSCI yesterday for the Hyderabad Hotshots vs Pune Pistons Indian Badminton League clash.

Considering the match was between two outside team, the 2000-strong crowd would have pleased the tournament’s organisers and players alike.

The spectators had turned up to watch Indian badminton’s golden girl saina Nehwal. And the Hyderabadi didn’t disappoint with a fine come-from-behind 17-21 21-19 11-6 victory over Pune Pistons’ Juliane Schenk to give the Hotshots a 2-0 lead.u00a0
