Paes, ranked No.8 in doubles along with long-time partner Mahesh Bhupathi (7), had won the 2011 title when the two came together after a lapse of nine years.u00a0

The two announced their split again after the ATP World Tour Finals in November. Bhupathi will partner fellow-Davis Cupper Rohan Bopanna (10) as part of the preparations for the 2012 London Olympics.
