Speaking on the television programme Taqraar, Sheikh Rasheed said that although Pakistan has been troubled by militant outfits internally, it would not give India an opportunity to take advantage of the situation by creating a propaganda around the cross-border dispute.

Earlier, India had held the Pakistan Army responsible for the killing of five Indian soldiers in Poonch District along the Line of Control (LoC) on August 6, but Pakistan denied the allegation.

Rasheed said India is safe only on a small strip of Assam, where war is not possible, and added that all other Indian states are at risk of being attacked by Pakistan.

He blamed India for building a conspiracy against the Pakistan military by creating pressure on the United States.

India should not feel that they have greater missile power, he further said.

If India has 70 percent missile base and 30 percent atomic air base, Pakistan has got 70 percent air base and 30 percent missile base that can cause mass destruction in India, he added.

Rasheed said that Pakistan still believes that India will maintain peace and resolve the border dispute by talks and not aggression, and added that Islamabad was not in the business of sacrificing its self esteem and respect to ensure peace with New Delhi.u00a0
