Not only has Pankaj Kapur dabbled with direction in his maiden venture Mausam (starring his son Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor), but he has also tested his vocal chords for the first time in the movie.
The actor/director has apparently sung Saj Dhaj Ke along with Mika Singh for Mausam. Now we hear he is all set to sing live at the film's music success party to be held on Wednesday at a night club in Worli.
A source reveals, "Pankajji loves music and has a lot of knowledge of Punjabi folk songs.
He gave a lot of valuable inputs to the music of the film. He keeps singing in front of his friends, but has never sung live in front of a huge gathering.

He is very excited to perform live in front of the entire star cast of the film, especially son Shahid and wife Supriya.

Apart from him, other singers including Mika Singh, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Tochi Raina and Hard Kaur are going to perform at the success party.
Kapur confirms, "I am glad that the film's music has really been appreciated and we wanted to celebrate that. We are trying to get all the singers to come and sing. I too would be singing."
