Parineeti Chopra on Delhi's smog: Can't believe we have let things go so far

Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor are in Delhi shooting for Dibakar Banerjee's Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Varun Dhawan is also in the capital for Shoojit Sircar's October. The actors took to social media yesterday to highlight the smog that is choking the city. Varun posted a snapshot wearing an anti-pollution mask.

He wrote, "I don't want to preach. I am equally to blame for this mess. It's time we go green (sic)." After two days of shooting, Parineeti has been battling health issues. She wrote, "Chest hurts, head hurts and throat is paining. Can't believe we have let things go so far. Let's wake up (sic)."

While Arjun tweeted, "Stop the blame game and come together to find a solution (sic)." With conditions deteriorating, the stars are breathing uneasy in the most polluted city.

Experts have recently declared public health emergency in Delhi as air quality in the world's most polluted capital city plunged to levels likened to smoking at least 50 cigarettes in a single day. Bollywood celebrities, who are in the city to shoot for their respective films, are suffering from breathing the highly polluted air.
