Laura Simpson, 29, the party girl who was in the car when former England football captain Wayne Rooney, 32, was arrested for drunk driving last September, has stirred up a hornet's nest once again. Recently, it was reported that Simpson had a one-night stand with reality TV star Jeremy McConnell, 28. And when one Twitter user criticised her for stooping lower after the Rooney episode, she replied saying that she had in fact risen higher, indicating that McConnell was better than Rooney in bed.

"Can't believe u stooped lower than Wayne," Tracy Mackie, a social media user wrote to Simpson. She wrote back: "Higher actually, he's massive and been nothing but nice to me every time I've seen him so don't judge Trace."

Rooney's encounter with Simpson in Cheshire last year, while his then pregnant wife Coleen, 31, was away on holiday, nearly ended his marriage. Simpson had then claimed that she had only kissed Rooney but would have gone on to sleep with him had he not been arrested.
