Spicejet flight SG2458 Mumbai-Jabalpur flight was delayed on Friday due to unknown reasons and led to upset passengers protesting and sloganeering at the Mumbai Airport.
With no clear message from the authorites about the duration of the delay or the reason, the passengers got agitated and started shouting in the old Security Old Hold (SHA) area.

According to airport officials, SpiceJet flights to Delhi, Jaipur, Jabalpur and Bangalore were all delayed leaving the passengers annoyed. "There wasn't any satisfactory assurances from the airline hence the passengers started retaliating.
"These passengers also tried to stop boarding of other flights. The situation worsened to a level that the local police had to be called on the spot to handle the situation," said an Airport Official.
