This left-arm medium pacer has really had to work hard on his fitness, and we aren't surprised given the fact that Irfan Pathan is a complete foodie. 
He tells CS, "Whenever I am shooting in Mumbai, the one thing you will always find in my vanity is vada pav." Irfan who was recently picked in the Delhi Daredevils side for a whopping Rs 8.6 crore talks to CS about his favourite cuisines:
On my plate
I don't have any bad habits like smoking, drinking, gambling, etc but food is my only weakness. And only I know how I resisted all those cravings for the last three months just to get in shape for the selections. I like Thai food, Chinese, Malaysian and Italian food (if I'm eating it in England and Australia.)
From mom's kitchen
My favourite food would have to be my mom's Biryani. Nothing in this world can match the taste of her Biryani. And another of her specialities is mixed vegetable consisting of brinjal, potato, methi (Fenugreek) and tuvar dal (green beans). I can have that sabji every second day without getting bored of it. Basically I relish anything and everything that my mom makes. When it comes to desserts, I really like gulab jammun and kheer. But I'd rather devour the main course than the sweets.

Food bloopers
Since I keep trying different cuisines in different countries, I have also had my share of food accidents. Once I was in a mood for some Indian food so I went to a dhaba. They had a dish which had a very fancy Urdu name so I ordered it. When it came, I realised that it was nothing but an ordinary curry. So when I am experimenting with menus, I am also quite prepared for the worst.
