PC Thulasi halts giant killer Chochuwang Pornpawee

Kerala's PC Thulasi overcame a first-game deficit to beat Chochuwang Pornpawee of Thailand 20-22, 21-14, 21-19 in the quarter-finals of the women's singles of the Tata Open India International Challenge at the Cricket Club of India's badminton courts yesterday.

Thulasi halted giant killer Pornpawee, who earlier in the day, took just 25 minutes to stun top seed Simone Prutsch of Austria 22-20, 21-18.
