People should see beyond my buff body, says Chris Hemsworth
Chris Hemsworth admits that his impressive physique has helped him get movie roles but hopes it is his acting skills that keeps people interested
The hunky ‘Thor’ star worries his buff body could overshadow his acting career. “It’s helped me get a job, sure. But you hope it’s not the only thing that helped.”
Despite his good looks, Hemsworth, 28, remains down to earth and admitted he finds some other actors’ pre-shoot rituals strange. “I worked with a guy once who would chant, ‘I’m beautiful and I have a secret, I’m beautiful and I have a secret’,” he said.
Meanwhile, the actor - whose wife Elsa Pataky gave birth to their little girl India Rose in May - revealed his own unusual method for preparing to play the alcoholic huntsman in ‘Snow White’.
Chris started spinning around in circles before his scenes. “It really shakes everything up, and you feel a bit more alive. I actually started spinning in circles before the scenes where I didn’t need to be drunk,” he added.
