Even though S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan have been in the news for all the wrong reasons, an animal group wants the trio to create consciousness among people about the sterilisation of dogs and cats by featuring in an advertisement.

“We would like to offer you an opportunity to generate public goodwill towards yourselves while helping to take the spotlight off this controversy: star in a PETA ad promoting a different kind of ‘fixing’ sterilising dogs and cats.

No one would call you ‘out’ about that,” said People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in its appeal to the three players, who are currently in custody of Delhi police for their alleged involvement in spot fixing.
