Echoing the sentiment, President Mukherjee tweeted: "Congratulations to Leander Paes on the Mixed Doubles win at the Australian Open."
Tendulkar also took to Twitter to express his gratitude to 41-year-old Paes. "Congrats @Leander on a wonderful win at the @AustralianOpen , way to go," wrote Tendulkar.
India-s only female Grand Slam winner Sania also hailed Paes- longevity through her tweet: "Congratulations to Leander and @mhingis ?? 20+ yrs and rolling."
