"The complaint was filed a few days back. The complainant alleged that the national flag had been dishonoured in the Cricket Association of Bengal's Eden Gardens headquarters during the Independence Day celebrations on August 15," said the duty officer at the Maidan police station Thursday.

Dalmiya, however, said he was completely in the dark about the complaint and had no idea who the complainant was.

A senior police officer said the matter was being investigated.
