The Kashimira Police recovered CDs containing pornographic material and 15 packets of Viagra tablets from the residence of former Shiv Sena district deputy chief Vasudeo Nambiyar on Monday.
Nambiyar had been arrested last week after a 15-year-old, who had been raped and threatened by him, delivered his baby at a Mira Road hospital. Police have also found obscene photographs of many girls, including minors, at Nambiyar’s house and suspect that there may be more victims.

“Nambiyar had been arrested for raping a Std X student in January. The survivor had delivered a premature baby last week and the hospital authorities had alerted us, following which the victim, who had remained quiet as she had been threatened by Nambiyar, told us about the rape. Nambiyar was arrested on September 4 and remanded in police custody till September 11,” said a police official.
“Based on the photographs that we have found, we suspect that other girls may have also been his victims. We are verifying all the facts and trying to identify the girls in the photos,” he added.
