Prateik Babbar made his theatre debut with 'Six' two months ago, and has been hooked to live drama ever since. The actor, who starred in Saurav Chakraborty's Bengali socio-political drama, Auroni Taukhon, two years ago, will now foray into Bengali theatre.
"The encouraging response that I received for my play has given me the confidence to explore the medium further. Since I have done a Bengali film earlier, I am familiar with the language."
Prateik, who essayed the role of a gay character in Jeff Goldberg's Six, the Indian adaptation of LB Hamilton's one-act play, A Midnight Clear, received several accolades for his performance.
Talking about his birthday plans, the actor says, "If it's not a working birthday, I celebrate in the company of close friends by going out for a meal. This time around, I will spend the day with my 92-year-old grandfather and my family."
