"The India Gaming Championship '09 was announced in January and avid gamers from all major Indian cities participated. I won the city finals that took place in Mumbai," explained Chaitanya.
Chaitanya, who is a final year commerce student at the Symbiosis Management Institute, is also preparing for his MBA entrance exam this year said he spends 3-4 hrs in a game parlour.
"I guess almost all college students spend that much time just hanging around. So, it does not affect my studies.
Fortunately, my parents have been very supportive from the beginning. Their elation reached new heights after they learned about the number of participants I have defeated," said Chaitanya.
