Pune witnesses two suicides in 48 hours

Two persons ended their lives for unknown reasons between Sunday and yesterday in two separate incidents in the Pune.

At 8 pm on Sunday, the parents of 22-year-old Nitin Dnyandeva Sable, who is a software engineer, returned to their home in Madhuban Housing society, Pimpri, only to find him hanging from the ceiling fan. According to officials of the Sant Tukaram Nagar police chowki, Nitin’s younger sister had stepped out for tuitions when he allegedly hung himself.u00a0

As no suicide note was recovered from the victim or from the spot, the police are investigating in the case from various angles to rule out foul play.
In the other incident, Jitu alias Ganesh Shankar Jadhav (22) allegedly committed suicide on Hanuman Tekadi yesterday afternoon by hanging himself from a tree behind Fergusson College.

The police believe he may have committed suicide in the morning. Jadhav was a resident of Pandvnagar near Pandavnagar police chowki. Officials of the Deccan police station are investigating.u00a0
