The University of Pune was left with no option but to change a first year engineering semester exam paper scheduled yesterday due to alleged negligence on the part of the college staff.

An engineering college in the city distributed Basic Electronics subject question paper on Saturday, which was actually scheduled to be held yesterday (Tuesday).

The paper was with the students for almost 15 minutes and questions in the ‘leaked” paper were allegedly circulated among other engineering colleges through students.

Though the college staff had immediately taken back the question papers, UoP examination department decided to change the paper at the last minute.
