The cops conducted the raid on the guest house late on Saturday evening. Interestingly the guest house was located on the third floor above the Marine Lines railway station. Of the three arrested, one person has been identified as B.L Verma, who works in the Operations Department. The arrested trio were found in the company of four girls.

A senior railway official, on condition of anonymity, said, “ Verma was recently transferred to the Mumbai division from Surat. He did not have a good track record and his current actions have embarrassed the Mumbai division.”

Sandeep Silas, divisional railway manager, western railway, Mumbai division, said, “I am not aware of the incident. This is shocking. The law should take its own course here.”
