Indian players Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Raina were involved in an on-field argument over dropped catches during their ODI match against the West Indies on Friday.
Jadeja lost his cool after Raina missed two catches off his bowling in the 26th and 32nd over. Jadeja was seen walking towards Raina and saying a few things. And Raina didn't hold back in response. Stand-in skipper Virat Kohli had to intervene to ensure that things didn’t go out of control.
A source told News 24 that a meeting was convened immediately after the match to resolve the differences between the two. Apart from the duo, Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli, team manager Ranjib Biswal and coach Duncan Fletcher were present during the meeting.
