After playing Kareena Kapoor’s father in Bodyguard, Raj Babbar will once again be seen playing dad on the big screen —this time to Soha Ali Khan.

The veteran actor has been roped in for the sequel of Tigmanshu Dhulia’s film that is presently being shot in Gujarat. In Bodyguard he had stepped in at the last-minute when the original choice Shatrughan Sinha opted out due to a busy schedule.

This time it was a chance encounter with the makers of the film that fetched him the role.u00a0The star happened to be on the same flight with the film’s producer Rahul Mittra. They got chatting and by the time the flight had landed, Babbar was in the film!

Explains Mittra, “I met Rajji on a flight from New Delhi to Mumbai. I was meeting him after years and we got talking. Before the flight had landed in Mumbai, I knew I had found Bunny, the character of Soha’s father in the film.”
