Rajkummar Rao-starrer Newton has a new release date — September 22. Amit Masurkar's film was initially slated to hit screens this month, but the makers decided to push its release. The film will now clash at the box office with Sanjay Dutt's comeback Bhoomi and Shraddha Kapoor's Haseena Parkar.

Newton had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival in February this year and won the International Federation of Art Cinemas award. Bhoomi and Haseena Parkar had been rescheduled to avoid a clutter at the box office, but with so many films lined up for September 22, it will be far from clutter-free.
