His mobile phone, cash, gold ring and baggage were robbed by a group of three persons.
One bad trip
"I came to Bangalore to meet my brother. My mother was accompanying me.
I was to board the train at 8.20 pm for Jharkhand. I felt someone behind me pulling at my bag.u00a0 I saw two men on a motorcycle. I thought they would come to my rescue.
They began talking to the boy who was pulling at my bag.

Tiwari had to walk all night to reach his brother's house at around 5.30 am at Annasandra Palya near H A L Ram Mandir.

"I was taken to Manipal hospital, where I was treated. I have seven stitches on my head and the doctors have advised me to go for a CT scan," said Tiwari.
Sanjay Tiwari's brother Raju (33), said, "A day later, when I went to Mahadevapura police station to file an FIR, I was told to go to the KR Puram police station.
There, they refused to take my complaint and asked me to take them to the spot, where the crime occurred."
Uncooperative cops
The Tiwaris had not managed to file a complaint when this story went to print. Police officers at the Mahadevapura police station remained unavailable for comment despite repeated attempts.
Inspector SH Thippeswamy from KR Puram Police Station, said, "We were busy with the BBMP elections yesterday. Let the person approach us tomorrow. We will do the needful."
