The International Collector's Society of Rare Items (ICSRI) displayed two gold coins of Shivaji's era at an auction cum exhibition, which was held in the city recently.

The International Collector's Society of Rare Items (ICSRI) displayed two gold coins of Shivaji's era at anu00a0 auction cum exhibition, which was held in the city recently.





He added that the two coins have Raja Shiv written with dotted outlines on one side and Chhatrapati on the other side. The round shaped gold coins weigh 2.7 to 2.9 grams and are of a diameter of 1.2 to 1.3 cms.

Also, more than 75 frames displaying 12 different categories ranging from ancient to modern coinage and currency notes collected by various collectors from all over India were put on display.
