Rich people can be creeps too, says Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron has revealed that she would never auction herself off for charity again, after she ended up with a "strange man" at one such event and termed the whole incident as "scary."
The ''Prometheus'' actress had previously offered herself up as part of an auction, and she admits she was so nervous about going out with an unknown person that she made her friends sit in the same restaurant as her.
“Do not do it. It''s like the worst idea ever. It''s one of those things. I was like, ''Yeah I am a dumb blonde,” the Daily Mail quoted her as telling on a talk show.
“They trick you with the whole, “oh you know you can help so many people”, and then you fall for it and before you know it you’re at a restaurant with some stranger. Like you could end up in Dahmer’s apartment!’ (Jeffrey Dahmer was an American serial killer.)
“I went to dinner with a strange man. I made two of my girlfriends go and sit at the restaurant while I was there. The closer I got to this thing, I was like, “this could actually turn out really bad”, like rich people can be creeps too!” “I’d rather just give the money [to charity]. It was a scary thing. And [the guy] was weird!” she added.
