Actor Riteish Deshmukh turned 40-years-old on December 17 and the actor's happiness knew no bounds as he received a special gift from his better half on the auspicious occasion. Riteish's actress-wife Genelia Deshmukh gifted the husband a Tesla SUV, Model X. The couple is currently vacationing in New York. Genelia had posted an adorable birthday wish for Riteish, wherein she wrote, "Happy Birthday @Riteishd … Thank you for being my everything.. For making Life about Loving you.. YOU WILL FOREVER BE MY ALWAYS (sic)." To which, the actor replied in a very romantic way. He wrote, "I hope I am doing exactly the same thing I did in my past life to have deserved you. Coz I definitely want you in my next. Thank you @geneliad for the unconditional love. For making moments count. For making life special. For just being you. Love you Baiko (sic)."

After seeing the couple's love intact even after five years of love marriage, filmmaker Farah Khan commented on Riteish's post saying that even she wants a wife like Genelia Deshmukh.
On the professional front, Genelia was last seen in a full-fledged role in 'Tere Naal Pyaar Ho Gaya' (2012) with Riteish. She later did cameos in Salman Khan's 'Jai Ho', John Abraham's 'Force 2' and her husband's Marathi film, 'Lai Bhaari'.
Riteish, on the other hand, is awaiting his film 'Total Dhamaal' to hit the screens. The film also starring Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Ajay Devgn and others, is set to release on December 7, 2018.
