Rizvi Springfield all-rounder Prithvi Shaw is looking forward to his two-month stay in Manchester, England. Nilesh Kulkarni, former India and Mumbai left-arm spinner, who made this possible for the Mumbai youngster, said that Shaw would attend a summer semester at Cheadle Hulme School (Manchester) and play cricket with various teams of Bramhall and Lancashire County.

Shaw would stay with Ian Milligan and his family, while UK based Indian physician Dr Samir Pathak will look after his other needs.  “The wait is finally over, as I will board the flight tomorrow.

I consider myself lucky to have got a chance to play in England so early in life. I just wish my late mother Suneeta could witness this,” said the 13-year-old boy. Shaw is glad that his sponsor, SG has sent five bats and a complete kit for his United Kingdom tour.
