Portugal winger Ronaldo arrived at Madrid from Manchester United in an ufffd80million deal in 2009, since when he has been a model of consistency.
The 26-year-old admitted his personal success at the Bernabeu had surprised even him. "I didn't expect to score my 100th goal so soon," he said. "I'd like to thank my teammates and the manager, who gives me the chance to play and grow as a player and as a person.
