Officials from Mundhwa police station arrested a Russian national for assaulting a security guard of Citadel Enclave Society located on B T Kavde Road and manhandling police officials while they were taking him into custody on Monday around 3 am.
The 26-year-old Russian, Rivera, was in an inebriated state when he hurled abuses and started assaulting the guard on the society premises.

When cops were informed about the incident through the police control room, Police Sub-inspector B B Jagtap and his staff went to the society to bring the situation under control.
Rivera allegedly manhandled policemen, too. Assistant Police Inspector Harpalsinh Sengar is investigating the case.
