Ryan Reynolds has responded to reports that said Disney was acquiring 21st Century Fox in his own humourous way. After Disney officially announced the merger, Reynolds shared a photo on Instagram of 'Deadpool' getting escorted out of Disneyland by security.

He captioned the snap, 'Apparently you can't actually blow the Matterhorn.' This isn't the first time Reynolds has cracked jokes about what the Disney-Fox merger might mean for his raunchy, R-rated superhero.

Last week, when news reports suggested that the family-friendly Disney had its eye on Fox, Reynolds joked about what a Disney-fied Deadpool might look like. But on Thursday, Disney CEO Bob Iger indicated on a call with investors that an R-rated Deadpool could co-exist at Disney. 'Deadpool 2' is set for June 1, 2018 release.
