Sachin Tendulkar, India's cricket great and batting legend, has time and again showed his love and admiration for his friends during his childhood days years until now. So it was only fit that on Friendship Day 2020, Sachin would show some love for his childhood buddies.

Sachin Tendulkar took to social media site Instagram to share a throwback picture on Friendship Day for his 25 million followers on Sunday. He captioned it: "Friendships are like floodlights on a cricket field. They enjoy your success from the corner. But if they realise the sun's going down on you, they light themselves up to provide brightness around you. For me, every day is #FriendshipDay."

Sachin Tendulkar has often mentioned his childhood friend Atul Ranade and how close they are. Everyone is also quite aware of the special bond Sachin Tendulkar and former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli share ever since their school days. Sachin and Kambli went on to create a highest partnership of 664 runs during a school match. Sachin and Kambli played together as well as part of the Indian outfit during the 1990s.
