mid-day Exclusive! Saif Ali Khan does not want Kareena Kapoor on his food trip

Saif Ali Khan who is set to play the role of a 'chef' in his next film says that he is extremely fond of food and cooking. He says that he is lucky that his wife Kareena Kapoor's family is fond of food as well. He added that he knows how to cook food, but North Indian cuisine isn't his speciality. He recollected incident wherein the entire 'Kapoor Khandaan' was present at Shashi Kapoor's residence and he along with Ranbir Kapoor and Kunal Kapoor had to make a prawn dish. No one thought he could pull it off, but he managed to pull it off quite well. He said that the entire 'Kapoor Khandaan' are food aficionados.

Since he plays a 'Chef' in the film who owns a food truck and goes on a road-trip, he said he would love to go on a 'Boys Only' food trip with Kunal Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. He added that he loves spending time with Ranbir Kapoor and gets along really well with him. However, he clearly missed out on saying Kareena's name, but we guess he wants it to be a 'Guys Only' road trip, with son Taimur of course. Guess, knowing how his wife is conscious about her diet, he does not want to bother her with junk food.

'Chef' directed by Raja Krishna Menon is set to release on October 6.
