The World No 4 took just 31 minutes to beat her opponent with some brilliant net play and powerful smashes.
Saina had to play catch-up in the first game as Cheng raced to a 6-2, however in the second game the indian never let go. Saina plays two-time All England champion Tine Baun of Denmark in the semis today.
