"It was unbelievable when Salimji personally called me and Juhi Chaturvedi, the debutant scriptwriter, to meet him at his residence for a cup of coffee. We were sitting and he suddenly got up, gave one of his black ladies saying, 'I am giving you my award for the film.
I really loved it. This is a token of appreciation from my side'," Sarkar told IANS.u00a0Salim Khan, 76, is known for penning scripts for hits like "Sholay", "Deewaar" and "Mr India".u00a0

"I have grown up watching his movies and was thrilled when he gave me the trophy. I was more than happy when he said he would not have ever worked on such a story, but is happy to see how we handled such a topic. It feels good when your work gets appreciation from a legend like him. I can't express how I am feeling," said Sircar.
