Salman Khan replaced by Varun Dhawan in Remo D'souza film?

Varun Dhawan has replaced Salman Khan once again. A few months back there were news that Salman Khan had said no to Remo D'souza's dance film which was tentatively titled 'Dancing Dad'. Rumours were rife that close confidantes of Salman Khan did not want him to do a dancing film, especially knowing that dancing isn't his strength. There were also reports that Salman was reluctant to play the role and he felt he wouldn't do justice to the role of a father.  According to a report in Deccan Chronicle, producer Ramesh Taurani offered salman Race 3, when he turned down the dance film. Salman simply cartlifted Remo and offered the Salman-Remo package to Ramesh for Race 3.

Now it is reliably learnt that Remo will kickstart the project with a new leading man, Varun Dhawan. A source in the know says, "Varun happily agreed when Remo approached the Badlapur actor. They have collaborated very successfully on Any Body Can Dance. After the socially relevant October with Shoojit Sircar, another dance film seems just the thing Varun needs to do."

The source, however, is quick to point out that this is not ABCD 3. "This film has nothing to do with the ABCD franchise. Remo designed it for Salman. But Salman was reluctant from the start and had even recommended Varun for the role."
