While several filmmakers are awaiting his dates, Salman Khan apparently has handpicked Barjatya's film, which may star Anushka Sharma
While half a dozen filmmakers are waiting for Salman Khan to give his dates for their films, looks like the star has already picked the lucky one. According to sources, post his film Kick with Sajid Nadiadwala, Sallu will start work on Sooraj Barjatya’s film from October onwards.

Salman, who is said to be extremely close to Sooraj, last worked with the filmmaker in Hum Saath Saath Hain 14 years ago.
A source says, “They are so close that after every film they work together in, Sooraj has shed tears on the sets wondering when the next time would be when the two could join hands together again. In fact, even Salman has shared similar emotions.”
So while filmmakers like Boney Kapoor, Prabhu Deva and even Subhash Ghai have been waiting in the sidelines for Sallu to give them his dates, the star has apparently already given his nod for Sooraj’s script.
An insider says, “Sooraj got really lucky. Bhai will start shooting for Sajid’s film in July, post which he will do Sooraj’s film.

Incidentally, according to industry sources, Anushka Sharma has been signed on as the leading lady opposite Salman in Sooraj’s film. Sources from Sallu’s camp however were not forthcoming to confirm or deny this. The model-turned-actress has acted in two films with Shah Rukh. Looks like it could be Salman’s turn next.u00a0
